Transept : 'Buff as Fuck'

Norwich based synth-folk drone band Transept lovingly (and somewhat messily!!) printed the covers for their new album here at Stew Print Rooms. Each cover was mono printed by the band before the text was screen printed over the top by Print Room technician Jo Stafford so each LP / CD is completely individual and unique - to grab yourself one head here.

Pecha Kucha

Some pics of flyers for the next Pecha Kucha Night being printed up. It takes place on Sunday 22nd April at 8.20pm at Cinema City. Jo Stafford is going to be talking a bit about Print to the People and there will be some other creative types doing presentations also. The concept of the night is that each presenter has 20 slides and only 20 seconds to talk about each slide keeping it short and sweet!

Pecha Kucha Norwich

If you are not doing anything this Sunday evening (15th Jan) then why not get down to Cinema City for the Pecha Kucha night being held there.
Pecha Kucha is a creative speaking event that originates from Japan. (Pecha Kucha is Japanese for “chit chat.”) Its unique speaking format was conceived by a group of architects in Tokyo as a way to get architects to talk faster during presentations. Ten individuals, from a wide-range of creative disciplines, are featured at each event. In the past this has included designers, painters, sculptors, musicians, choreographers, writers, photographers and even puppeteers. Each speaker has twenty slides set on a timer for twenty seconds per slide, so each talk is only six minutes and forty seconds long.
